SuperUnit Launch : Students will explore the inner workings of a kaleidoscope, and seek to understand what makes them such a beautiful tool. This will serve as a good launching point to discuss the beauty of our diverse community, and the need to show respect and empathy to those around us. Field Trip : Perspective City Tour Guest Speaker(s) : SSIS Community Members (staff, faculty, students, and family members) Project : Students will write an existing fairy tale from a different character’s perspective to teach the importance of hearing both sides of a story.
