SuperUnit Launch : In the shoes of someone at SSIS- Our Learners will have the opportunity to shadow members of our school community for one hour. They will learn about the different perspectives around our campus and also authentically experience the roles and responsibilities of the different members of SSIS. Students will design a series of interview questions to learn more about their community member. Field Trip : Artinus 3D Museum Guest Speaker(s) : Visually Impaired Community Member, Former US Military Personnel, Vietnamese Refugee to America, Team leaders of Gardeners, Maintenance, Security, and Cleaners team. Project : Students will use what they learn about an SSIS community member to introduce them to the elementary school. Students will introduce community members through a variety of mediums and will aim to focus on the unique perspective that makes them who the are.
