Language: Features of opinion writing, opinion writing within expository writing. Notice when someone is

stating their opinion and using reasons.

Math: Fractions and Measurement. Baking (measure the ingredients), divide your baked goods into equal

fractional parts.

SuperUnit: Systems around the home. Planning your project. Create more efficient or effective systems for

reaching family goals or completing family routines.

Talk to your child about the systems that exist in your home (water system, electricity, garbage). Ask them

how these systems impact their lives and how they work.

Talk to your child about how they could improve these systems. Ask your child why these are important

and what would happen if they didn’t exist or didn’t work well.

Please consult with your child about what they are doing for their project. Maybe you can be a mentor and

guide them to inquire deeper into improving or developing a system for the Phu My Hung community.
